Ms. Kathy Shi (Hua) brings her vision of giving the essences of Chinese and Western education to children. With over twenty years of experience in education, Ms. Shi and BIBS are committed to integrating China's education with Western education in supportive and stimulating environments.

Former Vice Principal of RDFZ, Senior Teacher, Special-class Teacher in Physics. Member of the National Expert Training Program of the Ministry of Education, the first group of State-level Backbone Teachers of the Ministry of Education's "Cross-century Gardener Project". Former Deputy Director of the Science Popularization Work Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, Committee Member of the Beijing Institue of Physics, former Deputy Director of the Competition Committee, former Director of the Beijing Youth Science and Technology Association. The only 2022 Yale University Distinguished Educator award winner from mainland China.

Caleb Archer from New Zealand and brings nearly two decades of experience in the international education sector across various countries, with close to 15 years in senior teaching leadership roles. His teaching across Asia and IB schools. He graduated from a prestigious university in New Zealand, earning a bachelor's degree in education and later a master's degree in educational leadership with first-class honors. Since graduation, he has been actively engaged in the international education field, teaching a variety of international curricula, including those from New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the IB program. Mr. Cochrane has held senior positions such as Deputy Principal, Middle and High School Principal, and Vice President.

With nearly two decades of experience in international education management, her leadership style is deeply shaped by her academic background in probability theory and mathematical statistics, as well as years of teaching abroad. She excels at driving decision-making through mathematical logic while adhering to a people-centered educational philosophy.

Taught in the RDFZ High School as Chinese teacher, head teacher and grade leader of the experimental class, whose class won the Beijing Outstanding Class Collective Award, and taught senior grade 3 for eight consecutive years. Won the first prize in the "National Training Plan (2012)" activity of the Ministry of Education. Served as part-time teaching researcher of Haidian Teachers' Training School, and undertook public courses and research courses in Haidian District, such as "Teaching design of ancient prose Unit" in Senior one Chinese, "Special Research on Cultural Classics" in senior two Chinese, and "Acquiring Wisdom in Classics" . 

Principal Ji is the Deputy Head of BIBS Haidian Academy（Pugao）& Director of Academic Affairs. Senior-Level Teacher, National Certified Master Physics Teacher (Special Grade). Accumulating over a decade of rich experience in grassroots management and classroom teaching, he has served in key leadership roles including:

·Vice Principal of Academics at a prestigious provincial-level model high school.
·Pioneering National Teacher (among the first batch certified at the national level).
·Part-time Teaching Researcher at the Municipal Education Bureau.

His outstanding contributions have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards:

·First Prize in the Provincial High-Quality Classroom TV Open Competition.

Throughout his career, he has held consecutive appointments as Director of Academic Affairs, Grade Level Director, and Head Teacher, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to educational excellence and effective team leadership.

Ms. Ruifang Zheng, Senior Teacher (Professorial-level), one of Beijing's first Special-grade Principals, and a Beijing Special-grade Teacher.

Gerrie Blignaut is an experienced Primary School leader, with over 18 years of teaching and leading across all Primary levels. He has a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education Degree) from the University of South Africa. He also successfully  completed his CSML (School Management and Leadership) course at Harvard Business School and is currently busy with his MBA (Master of Business  Administration) Degree at York University St. John’s. 

Mr. Yumin Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and a Master's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida. He possesses teaching licenses in Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physical Education, and General Science in the United States, as well as a UK teaching license. He serves as an AP Environmental Science Reader and has been awarded the first prize in the Haidian District International Curriculum Teaching Design Competition. Mr. Zhu was also the champion of the first TopSchools China Wonder Teacher Award and has served as a judge for teaching skills competitions. Previously, he held the positions of Deputy Director and Academic Director at the International Department of Beijing Bayi School.

Mr. Zawacki earned a bachelor's in history with an option in Social Science and specialized in the history of ideas and legal history.  From California, he holds a Secondary Teaching Credential in Social Science, English, and Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development (CLAD)(ELA)(SDAIE) and a Master of Science in Education, with an emphasis in Online Teaching and Learning (EdTech).  

Ms. Runying Wang graduated from the Biology Department of Beijing Normal University with a degree in Biology and later completed a master's program in Education at Capital Normal University. She has engaged in biology teaching at the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China for over 20 years, serving as Party Branch Secretary, Head of the Biology Teaching and Research Group, and Head Coach of the Biology Olympiad, with a deep passion for biology education.

Jennifer Hou graduated from Nankai University, majoring in English Language Education. Thereafter, she went to Canada to pursue preschool education. She devotes herself to the cause of preschool education as a lifelong learner. During the two decades of teaching and management, she has been affectionately known as 'Hou mom'. 

From Canada, holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Early Childhood Education. She earned a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Development, along with certifications in Early Childhood Leadership and the PYP IB. She has been engaged in international education for 17 years.
